Benicolet - Cuter Than You Might Have Thought -

Well well well, we can't complain. Foggy countryside (sometimes snowy and very often frosty), an amazing parish church, and a couple of examples of local architecture which tell us that out here the centuries can exist side by side. I hope they do for ever and ever.

BENICOLET - ALSO UGLY

After paying a short New Year's visit to Brussels (again), Paris (again and again) and London (again and again and again) I couldn't help but thinking about these pictures I took on a Sunday afternoon in Benicolet, when everything stands still, never-ending, quiet and too often filthy.

Nevertheless, we call it a beautiful small town. Why?

Well, it's home and -I must admit- it's cute.
